ROOFING SAFEWORK PROCEDURE

As the Prime, you want to ensure putting workers on your roof there is as much safe guards and documentation as possible in the event of an incident.  1 incident can become years in a courtroom.  Having your contractor tell you they have it covered will not stand up in court.  Have your contractor and all the workers read and sign off on the document.  If workers cannot read English the contractor MUST supply the worker with an interpreter to verbally translate the document prior to the worker signing.  1 incident can cost you your investment.  .
